Talking about his versatility Ranveer Singh recently revealed that initially when he was offered the role of Alauddin Khilji in Pasmaavat by Sanjay Leela Bhansali he denied it.
Ranveer said he rejected the role of the emperor as he found the character loathsome, very dark and despicable, pretty messed up too. He said that he told Sanjay that this particular role might take him into some sort of a hole through which he might not be able to come out. And he wasn’t sure about this role as at this stage of life he was very happy as he and Deepika Padukone was about to get married.
